Returning to a Favorite
When we find a restaurant that truly impresses us, it’s almost guaranteed to make the list for our next trip.
That was exactly the case with Giada in Las Vegas.
After an unforgettable first visit, returning was high on our list during our most recent trip. The question wasn’t whether it would be good—it was whether it could possibly live up to the memory.
We’re happy to report that it absolutely did.
A Meal Worth Repeating
Sometimes you find a dish that’s so good there’s no reason to experiment, and that’s exactly what happened with me. I ordered the Lobster Ravioli again, and after the very first bite, I remembered why I couldn’t resist ordering it a second time. Rich, perfectly cooked, beautifully presented, and every bit as delicious as I remembered.
Tracey had no trouble making his decision either. He once again ordered the Ribeye, and just like before, it was cooked to perfection and packed with flavor.
We shared the Balsamic Grilled Asparagus, which paired wonderfully with both entrées, and finished the evening with Giada’s Favorite Cookies for dessert. It was the perfect ending to an incredible meal.
Exceptional Service
One thing that really stands out at Giada is the service. Every member of the staff made us feel welcome. From our primary server to the staff constantly making sure our water glasses never emptied, the attention to detail was outstanding. It’s the kind of service you expect from a fine dining restaurant, and Giada delivers.
Dining With a View
Of course, the view deserves its own mention.
Overlooking the Las Vegas Strip, the restaurant offers sweeping views that are beautiful during the day, but absolutely spectacular after dark when the city comes alive with millions of lights. If you have the opportunity, we’d definitely recommend making a dinner reservation after sunset.
The Only Disappointment
We did have one small disappointment.
On our first visit, the Smokey Old Fashioned arrived under a dramatic smoke-filled glass box, creating one of the coolest cocktail presentations we’d ever seen. Unfortunately, that presentation is no longer part of the experience. While the drink itself was every bit as delicious as we remembered, the theatrical presentation was noticeably absent. Perhaps we were just spoiled the first time!
Our Final Thoughts
Even with that minor change, Giada remains one of our favorite restaurants in Las Vegas.
Outstanding food, exceptional service, beautiful views, and an atmosphere that makes every meal feel like a special occasion.
For us, this is a must-visit every time we’re in Las Vegas.
