Welcome to Mexico travel that goes back years and includes our own wedding day. Mexico holds a special place in our hearts and has been part of our story for many years. We’ve been fortunate enough to visit many different regions of the country. Even so, we know we’ve only scratched the surface of everything Mexico has to offer.
Our travels have taken us to destinations such as Cabo San Lucas, Cancún, Mazatlán, and Mexico City. We’ve also visited Hermosillo, Ensenada, Tijuana, Nogales, La Paz, Rosarito Beach, and Puerto Peñasco. Each place has its own unique character, culture, and charm. That has given us a deeper appreciation for the diversity that exists throughout the country. If you’re planning your own trip, the official Visit Mexico site is a great place to start.
Why Welcome to Mexico Travel Always Means Puerto Peñasco
Puerto Peñasco holds some of our most meaningful memories, and we owned a second home there for many years. It became a place we escaped to regularly, sometimes every other weekend. Over time, it began to feel like a second hometown. The beaches, sunsets, and relaxed pace of life kept drawing us back again and again. It’s also where we got married, exchanging our vows on the beach with the Sea of Cortez as our backdrop. Few places hold as many cherished memories for us as Puerto Peñasco.
Mexico has also hosted some of our biggest milestones. We spent our honeymoon in Cancún. More recently, we experienced Cabo San Lucas for the first time, adding yet another unforgettable destination to our list. Bustling cities, relaxing coastlines, and time with friends and family—Mexico has consistently welcomed us with warmth and hospitality wherever we go.
Like any country, Mexico faces its challenges, and news headlines often focus on its difficulties. Yet what we have experienced time and time again is a country full of beauty and rich traditions. It has incredible landscapes and some of the kindest people we’ve ever met.
The food alone is worth the trip. But it’s the combination of the people, culture, and ocean that continues to call us back. Mexico is more than just a vacation destination for us. It’s a place we’ve woven into our lives, our memories, and our story as a couple. We know there are still countless places we have yet to explore, and we look forward to discovering more of this remarkable country. You can follow this destination and every other one on our travel map.
